The Ministry of Home Affairs and the departments under it held a Nuzul Al-Qur'an Celebration, organised by the Fire and Rescue Department, 11th March afternoon. With the theme “Strengthening the Learning of Al-Qur'an and Internalising Its Teachings", the ceremony was held at the Ministry.

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. The ceremony included a talk titled “Messages of Ramadhan and Nuzul Al-Quran" delivered by Doctor Mikdar Rusdi, Senior Assistant Professor, Faculty of Usuluddin, Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College. The content of the talk was to increase understanding of the history of Al-Qur'an as well as lessons that can be taken and practised behind the wisdom of the revelation of the words of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.
